Breyer Glossy Alborozo Model HorseThis is a very very limited edition breyer plastic model horse, #718, called alborozo. Sculpted by brigette eberl of germany, it was sold exclusively to attendees at the 2008 breyerfest only and then the mold for the sculpture was destroyed! This alobrozo is in the ultra-rare and quite desirable glossy finish. There were 15 of these awarded to a costume contest at breyerfest. This however, si not one of those 15. I -karen gerhardt- am the sculptor of breyer's cleveland aby mold and have a working relationship with the company. I recently completed a project for breyer and received this model as part of my compensation for that work. It is fully documented as factoyr glossed. I have a signed certificate of authenticity and yes that does mean there are at least 16 glossy alborozo's. This model is gorgeous and well-finished and only has two tiny little flaws that i can see. A little mold mark on his neck under the sticking-out mane on the rigth side, and a slight smear or rough bit on the back edge of the right hind hoof. (see photos). Otherwise the seams are smooht and the color is lovely. Sotfly dappled. This model is sold as-is and i have carefully inspected it and described it as best i can. It comes with everything shown in hte photo. Payment in full is deu at the end of the auction.Paypal is the only form of payment i accept and no time payments, sorry! It is sold usa postage paid.
