Sonnett Orig Ceramic Sculpture Fox Picture FrameHappy fall everyone! And for fox lovers i've made a picture frame fro the season to hold your favorite 5 x 7 photograph. With a bsaic picture frame shape that was made from a ceramic mold, i added all my handsculpted components to produce a one-of-a-kind piece that you will never see anywhere else. To create tihs scene i first rolled out my ceramic clay for the grassy base and then attached the greenware frame. Then i handsculpted everything else the two foxes, vines and greenery, flowers, pumpkins, rocks and two goldfinches. Once everything was painted ni detail, all the parts were attached together with liquid clay. Two high temperature kiln firings bonded everything togethre in a permanent glazed finish. I've signed and dated this on the back, barbie sonnett 2008. Measurements 9 1/2 wide, 4 deep and 8 1/2 from the bottom to the top of the top fox's ears. This frame does not have glass. The 5 x 7 photo slips into a slot no top in the back. I've been selling my original ceramic animal sculpture as a fulltime profession since 1982, and for the past eight years exclusively on ebay.
